The Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) will host a day of academic celebration and innovation on February 19, 2025, at Salle d’Expo, Assumption Hall, Hua Mak Campus. The event, which runs from 9:00 to 14:00 hrs., features the Biotechnology Pin Decoration Ceremony, the Annual Last Orientation Ceremony, and showcases of groundbreaking student research.
The morning begins with the Biotechnology Pin Decoration Ceremony, a symbolic tradition where new students receive microscope pins on their uniforms, marking their official entry into the field. This is followed by the Annual Last Orientation Ceremony, a heartfelt farewell for graduating students, recognizing their academic journey and achievements.
In the afternoon, students enrolled in FT4157 and FT4114 courses will present their work at the Future Food Student Innovation Showcase. The exhibition will feature innovative food products designed to address emerging global challenges in sustainability, nutrition, and technology. Simultaneously, the Theophane Venard Student Research Innovation Exhibition will spotlight cutting-edge research conducted by final-year students, highlighting their contributions to scientific advancement.
This event not only celebrates academic success but also underscores the school's commitment to fostering innovation and sustainability. Faculty, students, and industry professionals are invited to attend and engage with the next generation of biotechnologists shaping the future.
