Assumption University of Thailand (AU) recently had the honor of hosting Dr. Parlindungan Purba, SH., MM, Chairman of the Sari Mutiara Medan Foundation, during his visit to campus. Dr. Purba, a prominent leader in education and community development in Indonesia, met with AU leaders to discuss opportunities for collaboration and cultural exchange.
Dr. Purba is known for his leadership in managing Sari Mutiara Indonesia University and Sari Mutiara Hospital in Medan, Indonesia. His contributions to education and international cooperation have earned him recognition, including his role as an Honorary Ambassador of HI Seoul, Korea, and leadership positions in numerous organizations across Indonesia and ASEAN.
During his visit, Dr. Purba toured key facilities at Assumption University, engaging in discussions that highlighted shared goals in fostering academic excellence and building strong regional networks. The visit was part of AU’s broader commitment to strengthening international partnerships and creating a global learning environment.
The visit marked another step forward in AU’s mission to promote global connections and innovation in education. Both sides expressed enthusiasm for future joint initiatives that aim to benefit students, faculty, and the broader community.
